HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER AND WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS CAN I USE?

OVERSEAS ORDERS

Oversea orders currently cannot be made on the website. Please contact customerservice@thecuratoruk.com or call ‭+44 (0) 7704 663423‬ for information on how to pay and delivery cost.

Regarding duties. You may be charged additional handling fees and custom duties and or other taxes as your order passes through customs. Any charges on a parcel must be paid by the person receiving the parcel (this also applies to retail & wholesale customers) and are therefore your responsibility.
We have no control over these charges, we cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

We will be able to supply more information on when the item will be available.
Due to the exclusivity of our products we hold limited stock and many of our wallpapers are produced to order. If stock is not available please allow 14 – 21 days for your order to be printed and processed.

CAN I MODIFY MY ORDER?

Order processing begins as soon as you submit your order. As a result, we cannot add or eliminate items after the order has been placed. If you wish to add to your order please place another order on the website, or contact customerservice@thecuratoruk.com or call ‭+44 (0) 7704 663423‬
It is important if you wish to buy extra rolls of the same batch of wallpaper that you call customer service to make sure we complete the order with the same batch number.

DELIVERY

Our standard delivery for UK mainland addresses is £6.00 per order.

Delivery costs are calculated depending on 3 variables.

  1. Your choice between standard or express shipping;
  2. The weight and volume of the items we’re sending.
  3. Your location.
  4. Applicable sales taxes may apply based on you location, they are calculated by the authorities, depending on the local legislation.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

The shipping time of an order varies depending on the products ordered. Stock items will be shipped within 2 days from order date, made to order or backorder items will be produced and shipped within 14 -21 days.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email letting you know your order is on its way, along with the tracking details. If you would like an update on the progress of your order you can login to your account or email customerservice@thecuratoruk.com

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY ORDER DOES NOT ARRIVE?

If your order did not arrive within the expected timeframe that we provided, please verify the following:

  1. Open the shipment confirmation e-mail we sent you and click on the tracking link to see the status of your delivery.
  2. Check your inbox/junk or phone to see if you received any notification from the courier regarding your parcel.
  3. Check with your household members or neighbours to see if they picked up the parcel for you.
  4. Contact us or the courier service if you need any additional information.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT AT HOME?

If a courier attempts delivery and you are not at home they may try to deliver to a neighbour. If this is not possible the couriers will redeliver the next working day. If unsuccessful the parcel will be redirected to our warehouse.

SAMPLES

You can order wallpaper samples on our website by adding a sample to your basket and following the checkout instructions.
Our samples are A4 (21cm x 29.7cm) size.
You can request larger samples by sending us an e-mail at customerservice@thecuratoruk.com there will be an additional cost for this service.

WALLPAPER PRODUCTS

HOW MANY ROLLS DO I REQUIRE?

If using a decorator they can advise on how many rolls are required. It is important to note our wallpaper due to its exclusivity is printed in small batches or to order therefore we recommend ordering all the rolls you require in one go. If you require wallpaper calculation assistance please contact: customerservice@thecuratoruk.com or call ‭+44 (0) 7704 663423‬ alternatively use a wallpaper calculator tool online.

HOW MANY ROLLS DO I REQUIRE WHEN DECORATING WITH MURAL WALLPAPERS?

It is important to note when calculating the necessary amount for our designer murals that each roll contains a single mural repeat comprising of 3 separate panels each 300cm in height x 70cms width. Overall width of one complete mural is 210cm wide. ie. a 6m width wall will require 3 rolls.

Please make sure that the height of the wall does not exceed 300cm.

WHICH PASTE SHOULD I USE?

All Curator wallpapers are ‘Paste the Wall’ product. The decorator should paste the wall not the back of the product.
Use a Premium Quality Tub Adhesive or an equivalent good quality, solvent free, fungicide protected, light grade adhesive. Do not use Self-Mixed Adhesives. All Purpose and Heavy Duty Pastes are not suitable.

CAN YOU USE WALLPAPER IN A BATHROOM?

Premium wallpapers can be applied on any wall of your house, with the condition the room is sufficiently ventilated. However, our wallpapers are not steam-proof or waterproof and we do not recommend using them in places where they are likely to come in direct contact with water.

RETURNS

Can orders be returned?
The wallpaper should be in its original condition unopened and undamaged.

Items which cannot be returned?
We are unable accept returns on items that have been produced to bespoke or made to specific requirements.

How do I return an item?
Please return wallpaper in original packaging along with your RETURNS FORM which you can download

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured courier service to cover you in the event of loss or damage.
Reimbursement will be made within14 days of acceptance of the returned package.

WHAT TYPE OF BUSINESS CAN APPLY FOR A TRADE ACCOUNT?

Interior designers, architects, show-rooms, online shops, hospitality, retailers, contract furnishers, procurement agencies.

WHAT IS THE TRADE DISCOUNT?

If application has been accepted we will disclose your discount within 24-48 hours.

TRADE ACCOUNT PAYMENT TERMS

We work on pro forma invoice only.

ENVIRONMENT

We are aware of our responsibilities to the environment. We have chosen to work only with ethical and accredited suppliers and we make business decisions based on the impact on the wider, global environment. We ensure all inks are classed as water-based, which means they are non-toxic and very low in VOC’s (volatile organic compounds). No solvent inks or vinyl substrates are used. All products in the range exhibit a high degree of colour fastness to at least Grade 6 of Bs EN ISO 105-BO2:1999

All paper and non-woven substrates are sourced from FSC or PEFC certified forests. All our products are tested in accordance with EN13501-1:2007+A1+2009 European Fire Regulations and have a pass mark of B, s2-d0, allowing the papers to be hung anywhere within a commercial building.

All of our products are printed in the UK.
