Sidney Paul & Co was commissioned by Yorkshire businessman Jonathan Turner to create a bespoke wallpaper for the Jowett Room at The Yorke Arms. As part of Jonathan’s creative refurbishment of The Yorke Arms, it was important that each of the 17 bedrooms and suites tell its own story. Each room’s design is centred around much-loved Yorkshire pastimes and tributes to the region’s heritage, with contributions from The Yorke Arms team giving every room its own individual and unique style.
Sidney Paul & Co worked closely with Jonathan and Karen to create the perfect vintage-style wallpaper for the Jowett Room. The detailed illustrations, exquisitely hand-drawn by the design team, feature classic vintage cars from Jonathan’s own collection, alongside images of The Yorke Arms and local historic buildings. Printed on the highest-quality embossed substrate, this limited-edition print makes the Jowett Room truly unique.
